Believing in the Power of the Physical

 

There are roles that only tangible things can fulfill.
And emotions that only touch can awaken.

 

Even in a world increasingly governed by information,
the need for physical things continues to give rise to new forms.

 

With a careful eye on the missions they carry—
and on the shape of the world tomorrow may take—
I seek to give each of them the form most true to its purpose.

 

All things created by human hands,
that exist in the physical world we can touch—

 

 

That is my design field.

手でさわれるものにしか 生み出せない感動がある。

 

情報が世界を支配する時代になっても、

必要とされるモノは生まれ続ける。

 

それらに課せられた使命と、

明日の世界を見据えながら、

それぞれのモノに最も相応しい形を与えてゆく。

 

人間が作り出し、手でさわることのできる全ての「モノ」
